LGBTQ+:

The LGBTQIA+ program engages LGBTQIA+ Angelenos through inclusive voter education and civic participation opportunities. The goal is to promote awareness of voting rights, accessibility options, and available resources to support participation in all elections.

The program addresses barriers that may affect LGBTQIA+ voters, such as limited access to information, concerns about fair treatment, and historic underrepresentation. Outreach efforts focus on LGBTQIA+ Youth (ages 16–17), First-Time Voters, Transgender and Non-Binary Angelenos, and Intersectional LGBTQIA+ Communities.

The Outreach team partners with community-based organizations and non-partisan institutions to ensure that LGBTQIA+ Angelenos have equitable access to accurate election information and are empowered to participate fully in the democratic process.
