Hello Everyone and welcome to the new City Clerk Newsletter. Each month your colleagues will be using this platform to help keep you stay current on what's happening across the department. In addition, you will receive regular updates on the City Clerk's Equity and Engagement Implementation Plan, along with personal introductions to Clerk Staff. This newsletter is one of the first action items being created to help all employees better understand who we are and what we do here at the Office of the City Clerk. No matter how often you actually come into the office, or see fellow employees at City Hall and Piper Tech, we want you to feel connected to this organization and each other. Here's to 2024! We are right in the middle of the budget season that will last until the Mayor's Budget is released in the Spring. And, then we jump right into the start of closing the fiscal year by June 30. In between we have a primary nominating election, business improvement district renewals and the opening of our new Passport Application Center, just to mention a few. Summer seems so far away until we start thinking of everything that is getting accomplished in the first half of the calendar year. And none of it happens without you. Every unit of every section of every division affects the outcome of these milestones. Thank you in advance for being here and being part of what will be an awesome year!
