The City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk each have specific roles in administering the City’s municipal elections. Both are required to provide translated election material.
In compliance with federal and local law, the Office of the City Clerk - Election Division provides services to voters who require assistance in Armenian, Chinese, Farsi/Persian, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer/Cambodian, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese.
These services include a multilingual assistance telephone hotline, and the English and translated election materials available for download listed below.
