LA’s 99 Neighborhood Councils (NC) form the grassroots level of the Los Angeles City government. NCs advocate on issues like homelessness, housing, public safety, parks, and sustainability.
The Los Angeles City Clerk will implement an All Vote-By-Mail (VBM) election model for NC Board Members whose seats are up for election in the 2025 NC Election cycle. This means that voters will receive and cast their ballots by mail.
If you live, work, own a business, own real property, or have a declared stake in the community, you are a stakeholder and can vote in NC elections!
Voting in NC Elections is Easy!
Find your NC(s) by using the NC Look Up tool and enter the address where you live, work, own property, or have a community interest (e.g., church, school, community organization, etc.).
You will find your NC name, the deadline dates for requesting and returning your ballot(s), and whether documentation is required to vote.
* Application and/or required documentation must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on filing deadline day
